INVITATION TO JOIN RESEARCH TALK AND DISCUSSION ON INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES BY DR RAMAN VAIDYANATHAN, UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD, UK - CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR BIOMASS UTILIZATION (CoEBU)
The Centre of Excellence for Biomass Utilization (CoEBU), UniMAP cordially invites you to a research talk session by Dr. Raman Vaidyanathan from The University of Sheffield, UK followed by discussion on the research collaboration opportunities.
The session will be held as follows:

Time: 9:30 am – 11:30 pm
Venue: Bilik Mesyuarat Dragon, Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)
Speaker:Dr. Raman Vaidyanathan (Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Sheffield UK
Moderator: Dr. Faqih Ahmad Shuhaili, Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology
Title: Enabling Sustainable Developments in Aquaculture and Engineering Opportunities
Potential research areas for collaboration includes:
Water and wastewater treatment, environmental monitoring, engineering expertise for construction of open ponds
Agricultural biomass or waste for feed formulations
Unmanned monitoring of changes in marine environment and aquaculture systems
Sensors for process and environmental monitoring
Photovoltaic technology for solar cell development
Engagement of local communities and socio-economic upliftment
All UniMAP staff are eligible for ONE (1) day of course attendance and counted for MBOT 2 CPD points. Attached is the poster for reference. All are welcome.
