The School of Manufacturing Engineering offers three undergraduate programmes – B. Eng in Manufacturing Engineering, B. Eng in Product Design Engineering, and Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering. It also offers Masters and PhD by research.

B. Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering

B. Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering programme at UniMAP has been developed to produce graduates who possess a wide range of professional engineering knowledge and skills necessary to manage modern manufacturing challenges. They should also be well equipped to contribute to wealth creation. The programmes provide a thorough understanding of design, manufacturing processes, manufacturing systems, manufacturing technologies and manufacturing organisational principles. Students are also exposed to the operational principles of engineering business processes and techniques, along with resource and human resource management issues.

The aim of this programme is to enable students to have the capability to address, with confidence, the kinds of problems which practicing manufacturing engineers face at work. Therefore, students not only learn engineering-based subjects, but also elements of entrepreneurship, engineering ethics, language skills and analytical thinking.
