Note: Students will need to repeat the English course after failing the first attempt, and students are expected to pay another RM 200.00 until students have gained the minimum English requirement set by the university .
Processing fee of RM50.00 - is NOT refundable and to be paid before  the application form  being processed.

For the first year beginning session, students are required to pay RM 6,570.00 (Total Non Recurrent Fees and Recurrent Fees, excluding accommodation fees).
While for the next following years, students only need to pay total of Recurrent Fees RM 3,710.00 (excluding accommodation fees).
Accommodation Fees: Please refer to Appendix 1 (Students are required to pay for accommodation according to the type of rooms chosen as in Table 1 together with programme fees mention above).

 4.0 Payment Rates for Renounce of Study Period
The payment rates are:-
  • Charges will be waved for students who quit before the semester begins.
  • Students who quit after the semester begins, but before the mid-term break, will have to pay half charges. Other continual charges need to be paid fully and are not returnable. 
  • Students who quit after the mid-term break will be fully charged.

5.0  Payment Rates for Students Awarded Consensus Leave
  • Charges will be waived for students who get the Senates’ approval for consensus leave, before the semester begins.
  • Half payment will be charged to students with consented leave, who get the Senates’ approval before the mid-term break.
  • Students who get the Senates’ approval after the mid-term break will be fully charged.

6.0  Failure to Settle Payments
  • Students who fail to settle payments will be barred from examinations.

7.0  Study Postponement
  • Charges will be waived for students who wish to postpone studies, with Senates’ approval.
8.0 Student Pass Approval Procedures
  • All students who have been offered to study in Malaysia are required to have a Student Pass approval before entering Malaysia. To process the application of a Student Pass, a student is required to submit 2 certified photocopies of all pages of his/her passport and 3 passport-sized photographs.
  • Student who has been offered to study in Malaysia is required to possess a passport with a validity date that covers the period of study.
  • Students who have previously applied/registered in any one of the institutions in Malaysia and possess a Student Pass under that institution are required to get a letter of release from the said institution in order to cancel the Student Pass. Otherwise application for Student Pass under UniMAP cannot be processed and thus will cause a delay in registration.
  • Students who are in possession of Professional Pass will be required to apply for "Permission to Study". Documents required for the application for permission to study is as stated in number 1 above. 
  • Students who enter Malaysia before obtaining the Student Pass approval is required to pay a sum of Ringgit Malaysia/RM 500.00 for Journey Performed Visa (JP visa). 
  • Expiry of Social Visit Pass is the sole responsibility of the student. 
  • Students are advised to enter Malaysia and register within the validity period (3 months from the date of issue) given for a Student Pass approval.
